Child Advocate, Speaker and Author 

Lu B Gene, speaker and author, of “How Could You Let This Happen,” has been a Christian missionary for over thirty-five years. She has had the privilege of speaking and teaching in over sixty countries of the world. She has worked in south Asia for the past twenty-five years helping rescue children at risk of sexual exploitation, sponsoring church planters, and building churches in the unreached people groups (specifically in Asia and the 10/40 window.) She is based in the Rocky Mountain area of Colorado and in Asia (near her children and ten grandchildren). 

Robert Capon once wrote, “We gasp under a thick blanket of boredom when we should  be breathing free the intoxicating air of astonishment!” In Christ, we can all lead the lives He  has designed for us…we can live the dream (even with it’s setbacks and challenges), and we can live lives of greater grace and love than we ever imagined!
